Audio-visual Development

Make the image respond.

We build the live layer between a signal and a space: shaders that respond to sound, installations that hold a frame rate, and visual systems that remain legible when the room gets loud.

The output is not a video file. It is a measured runtime with a control surface, a clock, and a plan for what happens when the hardware or the signal misbehaves.

What the work involves

Shader systems

GLSL, WebGL, WebGPU, and native shader pipelines shaped for the screen and hardware they will actually run on.

Audio-reactive control

Sample-aware mappings from amplitude, spectrum, spatial position, and musical events into motion, light, colour, and form.

Installation runtime

Capture, playback, projection, export, and recovery paths designed to run unattended in a real room.

What you get

  • A real-time visual prototype that answers to your signal
  • Shader source and a control surface for live performance
  • Measured timing, frame-rate, and hardware limits
  • Deployment notes for screens, projectors, or an installation runtime

Questions

Can you work with an existing audio system?

Yes. We can take OSC, MIDI, WebAudio, native audio callbacks, or a file and shape the visual layer around the timing you already have.

Do you deliver source code?

Yes. The handover includes the runtime, shader source, controls, and the notes someone else needs to operate it.

Can this run in a browser?

Often. We choose browser, native, or an installation engine based on the screen, latency, and reliability the work needs.
